The Great Adventure Lab is an after-school science enrichment program. We’ve taught thousands of kids how to write their first robotics or video game programs (or both!). We do it all with a student-to-adult ratio of 7:1 for most classes. (You can find full descriptions, reviews and photos of all our classes and birthday parties at http://thegreatadventurelab.com.
Sep 26, Oct 17, 24, Nov 7, 28, Dec 5, 12
We’ll build robots that can navigate obstacle courses and respond to motion, touch, and ultrasonic sensors. We’ll use the LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 base kit to master programming basic movements and then progress to more difficult challenges.
We strongly recommend previous Lego robotics experience for younger students, though it is not required.
Areas of Exploration: Programming, Robotics, Logic, Mechanical Engineering.
Class Format: Seven 90-minute meetings, once per week.
Tuition: $235 per student; min 5 / max 8 students. 1 instructor, no aide.
